#23 week 9 Is this really the end?

Before I started this Blog, I would have never thought of looking at sites like YouTube or
networking, etc.
This exercise was good for me as I have learnt alot with help.
Yes it has been a good experience and I hope I can get better and better.

#20 week9 you tube

I liked the site very much.I typed the national anthem of Kenya and India and I got the
video recording with lyrics and correct pronounciation. I loved it......I would like to share it
with everyone.

I looked at the site. This audio only with slides sometimes, I found this site not friendly as google and Youtube. It is hard to navigate, needs a lot of time to explore. It is ok if you have plenty of time. One does not have to have ipod or mp3 player, one can use PC.

week 8 #19 web 2.0 awards

Looked at the revolution health website 1st prize awards in the health category.
Liked it very much , it gives a lot of information regarding health. signs and symptoms of various conditions.
It also gives healthy recepies which is useful for little children and adults
It gives good variety of websites which you would not know otherwise.

Created a document and saved it as a google document.
I can now access this anywhere in the world. May be I shall share it when I am in London and
Dubai at the end of the year.

This fruit grown on trees, its like small purple fingers.
SEason is between March - June.
This fruit is known for its properties that is used
to control disbetes.
If eaten daily it can bring down blood sugar level

Facebook:

If one ha an account for facebook. its a very good way of keeping in touch with friends or relatives around the world. It connects people. one ca upload photos and share. Its a good idea to keep it private so nominated people can share.

My space:

Is basically the same as facebook. one can find love, find old friends and make friends. On this you can upload photos too, share and keep up with friends

One can put posting on.
You can add youself as a fan.

This is a search tool for searching other peoples blogs instead of searching for websites.
there were top 100 blogs by fans
Boing Boing came first it had 3869 fans
Top searches task bar came first.
Top100 blogs by authority.
Breaking news & opinion in the Huffington Post came first.
Authority figures was 25761

Delicious keeps all bookmarks in one place.
Stores bookmarks online so you can access at world as well as home or anywhere in the world
One can share bookmark online with other people and see what other poeple are bookmarking

Playing around with PB Wiki

I went into PB wiki. Added my blog to the favourite blogs page, I then added my favourite book and my favourite holiday spots, which are Dubai and Indian subcontinent.

Wiki

It is easy to use. It is web based.
What I dont like about wiki is that anyone can make changes.
One can publish events on wiki.
Who ever uses wiki for assignments has to be very careful as the information may not be correct.
This is like a blog on which anyone can add or delete stuff.

Very user friendly.
Fast way to create you own search engine. You dont even need programming.
Rollyo searches latest news, articles and blogspots.

Library Thing

The Library Thing is the best book site on the web.
Book recommendations are obtained. Patrons can take part in the reviews and rate the books.

Reviews are written with book covers. It appeals to me its not that I judge the book by its cover
but, it makes me read reviews.

If I find I like the book I can then request them

Technology

Everthing is moving very fast, the most important thing I like is the way you can keep in touch
with someone very far in no time. I also like the way we can access everything on websites

I found colour pickr very very amazing. I had picked flower and picked yellow colour and I was amazed at how many beautiful yellow colour flowers I could see and it was very very interesting.

I cold not have done this on my own. Thanks to the people who have helped me.

This is the most beautiful building in the world, build in 1630 and all the marbel was delivered

by camels. The building is symetrical and when I saw it 2 years ago, I was in awe...

Everyone who gets a chance to see this building in Agra in India should travel to see one of the

most beautiful building in the world. Stones are hand carved and hand painted.
